Diamond Guide
Choosing a diamond requires understanding its 4Cs: Cut, Color, Clarity, and Carat. This guide helps you make an informed selection.
Cut
The cut determines a diamond’s brilliance. Excellent cuts maximize sparkle through perfect proportions, symmetry, and polish.
Color
Color measures the absence of hue. D–F are colorless, G–J nearly colorless, K–M faint, and N–Z light. Colorless or near-colorless is most desirable.
Clarity
Clarity measures internal inclusions and surface blemishes. FL/IF are flawless, VVS/VS have minor inclusions, SI shows slight inclusions, and I has visible inclusions.
Carat
Carat measures the weight of a diamond. Larger carat weight increases rarity and price, but size perception also depends on the cut.
